How To Lose Weigh At Work
Losing weight at work is not as easy as at home. At home, you can do whatever you want, eat whenever you want too. You can do the treadmill while you are watching television, eat smaller and more frequent meals to boost metabolism. While at work, most time is spend on working, there isn't enough time for your weight loss schedule. So will we give up?
Here are some ideas to lose weight at work.
1. Move your body more. Park your car a little bit far away from the office, so that you have to walk. Use stairs instead of elevator, walking on the stairs burn more calories than you think. At work, after about 45 minutes, escape from your computer, stand up, go around and talk something to your colleague about the weather, stocks or something else and of course not business in a few minutes. It helps you to move more, and release your stress.
2. Drink green tea instead of coffee and other caffeine beverages. Black tea is also ok, but green tea is better to lose weight because it is fresher. You should use tea bag, making a cup from loose tea takes time and tools such as teapot, tea box…
3. Get up early than usual to make a packed lunch. Include whole grains, lean protein and vegetables. It needn't be complicated: how about a ham and lettuce sandwich on whole meal bread, with a handful of cherry tomatoes on the side?
4. Go out the office and enjoy you lunch. Throw the business worries away. Why don't you ask your colleagues go with you, it is a good idea. During lunch, talk about everything that make everyone laugh. Someone has told me that we should chew foods 30 times before swallow them. It is a weird idea, isn't it? But I think it works. Chewing foods well sends signals to your mind that you are eating, which will reduce the appetite, and foods are cut well by your teeth so that they are digested better, you will feel more energy, move more, and burn more and lose weight.
5. Put a bottle of water on our desk and sip regularly. Water is necessary not only to help you lose weight but also for a healthy body. But you are usually absorbed in work and there is no time for drinking water. Just put a bottle on your desk even the bottle without water inside. It will remind you that "Hey guy, you should drink some water."
6. Make friends with good foods at work. The best way to say no to junk foods is to feed your body with good foods. Buy bananas, apples, low-fat cereal bars and put them on your desk. Whenever you feel hungry, eat some. You should put them on somewhere that your eyes are caught and throw junk foods away.
